Usually, we will refresh your HTML pages once per night. If you publish new content during the day you can use our API to trigger the refresh manually. Please bear in mind that the time the refresh needs increases with the number of files! This means that „Refresh everything“ is not the best option in most cases. The more specific you are, the faster the refresh will be. To give an example: Let's say you have a page „/promotion“ which changes multiple times over the day. You can define a refresh job that refreshes this specific page and, if needed, all subpages to this path. To do so, go to your app dashboard (https://dashboard.baqend.com) and navigate to „Content Updates“ on the left side. Click on „Add a Content Update“.
In the modal, you can give this job a name and configure which content types should be included (keeping all selected is usually fine). Under point 3 enter the URL that should be refreshed and click “Add Url”. Giving our example let's say: https://www.my-test-shop.com/promotion. If I want all subpages to this path I can add „*“ to the end of the URL: https://www.my-test-shop.com/promotion*. Click on „Add Url“ and „Start Content Update“ directly.
You can find this job in your overview now and always run it when you’ve changed content again.
